Every week, KleinLife distributes meals to seniors through the Home Delivered Meals program, a volunteer-model program to deliver meals to 500 homebound seniors annually, and Philadelphia Corporation for Aging’s Grab & Go Meal Site, a drive-thru operation to distribute a week’s worth of meals to 150 seniors who attended congregant meals affected by the pandemic.
This week’s snowfall had KleinLife’s staff and volunteers challenged with the task to distribute hundreds of meals to seniors in need. Their heroic efforts always shine and makes the organization and the community thankful. Watch this short video to see them in action.
